SCOPE This session is for discussing and publishing about information systems that reinforce the creativity of human, i.e., for human to discover knowledge and chances, to make a break-through decision, and to design new systems and new environment. As we have been learning for years in studies on Chance Discovery, these three D's (Discovery, Decision, and Design) are to be linked with each other via
- humans' process of thought, communication, and action
- computational analysis/visualization of data.
Thus, as well as in previous sessions on Chance Discovery, we seek interdisciplinary
approaches. Papers relevant to chance discovery, business data mining,
social risk management, congitive science, artificial intelligence, decision/creativity
support systems, etc., new combinations of these disciplines, and thoughts
going beyond are strongly relevant to this session.
TOPICS Technical issues include (but not limited to)
-social and organizational design
-system design
-network design
-product design
-servise design
-inovation and organizational change
-marketing science
-consumer behavior
-retailing and pricing
-advertising
-customer relationship management
-brand management
-inovation
-machine learning algorithms and methods
-text and semi-structured data mining
-pattern recognition
-knowledge representation
-statistics and probability
